One of the knobs is broken with remnants of adhesive presumably used in the 19th century to reattach the now missing piece. There is a depression, or smoothed over gash, at the center of the stone on one side. The banding of the slate is barely perceptible beneath an overall coating of reddish-brown patina especially heavy at and under the carved knobs. Published in Knoblock (1939) Pl. 227, no. 5. W. Va B.J. Wilson is written on the stone."}, {"label": "Rights", "value": "This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License.
